St. Peter/Nicollet County Cares has been notified by Concordia Parish that the following items are in need at the present time.  These items will be collected at designated collection points from now until the first deadline of Sunday, October 16, 2005.  All “in kind” donations will be taken to Concordia Parish on approximately October 21, 2005.  It is the organization’s hope that further “lists” of needed items will be received in the future, which the organization, through the generosity of donor’s hopes, can be filled to the extent possible.  The Board of Directors of St. Peter/Nicollet County Cares is thankful for the generosity of the citizens wishing to help their fellow citizens in their time of need.

The items which are presently needed are as follows:

            Rope for clothesline and clothespins
            Rubber gloves
            Disinfectant spray
            Trash bags
            Household cleaners (Ajax etc.)
                (Any other items to clean a musty, moldy, dirty basement)

FOOD ITEMS

1.         Assorted Staple Groceries, such as salt, pepper, sugar, flour

3.         Canned Meats
4.         Baby Formula
5.         Fruit Drinks
6.         Rice, Instant Potatoes, Pasta

9.         Pet food for Humane Society and local residents
