Great music for a great cause! Join us this Sunday, October 23rd from 3:00-9:00 p.m. in Johnson Hall at the Nicollet County Fairgrounds in St. Peter for a day filled with great music, Louisiana pulled-pork sandwiches, prizes and sociability!
This Care Benefit for Hurricane Survivors features musicians such as the Echo’s Big Band, Gustavus Adolphus College baritone Michael Jorgensen, Peggy Grey & Joel Brinker, Folkie Dolkie, Paul Durenberger, Lonnie Knight, and the Fendermen. All proceeds from this benefit go directly to St. Peter-Nicollet County Cares, Inc., which benefits hurricane survivors in Concordia Parish, Louisiana. A $5 donation is requested at the door. Pop is free, compliments of Pepsi, and Whiskey River will serve pork sandwiches at cost.
Raffle tickets will be available during the event, with 1st prize of $500.00 cash being donated by Counseling Services of Southern Minnesota. Tickets are $10 each. This event is sponsored by St. Peter-Nicollet County Cares, Inc., a community-wide response to the need of people devastated by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, working community to community.
